Zimbra multi-tenancy service

In 2011, I developed a Zimbra-as-a-service module that was open-source to help enterprises and businesses ease their mail-task on the system. The free open-source version of Zimbra was limited features. Hence, this tool was built to allow the system admin to manage quota, tenant, and scheduler; lets tenant manage domain; lets domain admin manage mailbox, alias, and group.

The tool was featured as a module on Drupal 7 (Open Source CMS).

Anyone can control Zimbra with Web Interface in Drupal CMS and everything was kept track in the MySQL database. A command sent by a user from Drupal would go to zmprov, a tool from Zimbra, via HTTP request by the PHP Checker tool.

The project was under mentorship by Trương Anh Tuấn (tuanta@iwayvietnam.com), and was awarded 2nd place in the Creative Summer for Student 2011 (an open-source programming competition), organized by Vietnam Association for Information Processing.
